We are seeking a passionate and motivated Medical Receptionist to work within Philadelphia FIGHT's Y-HEP (Youth Health Empowerment Project) Health Center for Adolescents and Young Adults, ages 13-24. This is a full-time position.

Philadelphia FIGHT, initially founded in 1990 as a comprehensive AIDS service organization, is now a Federally Qualified Health Center with four clinical sites, providing access to state-of-the art, culturally competent primary care, advocacy, social services, consumer education, and outreach for all patients in need, regardless of HIV status or insurance status.

The Y-HEP Health Center offers a holistic and trauma-informed approach to primary care for adolescents and young adults (ages 13-24) that aims to be welcoming and affirming for all patients and staff members. Our team-centered approach is essential to addressing the social determinants of health impacting our community, and includes access to integrated behavioral health services, coordinated PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV) services, a community health worker, case management, and a benefits coordinator. While open to all, the Y-HEP Health Center's mission is to reduce health disparities for particularly vulnerable populations.

The patients and staff at Philadelphia FIGHT are diverse, representing a broad spectrum of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, HIV status, and physical ability. As such, it is imperative that candidates demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of various populations. The ideal candidate is professional, innovative, emotionally intelligent, intellectually curious, hard-working, reliable, computer savvy and open to new ideas.
