We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated person who believes in FIGHT's mission to lead our Facilities and Environmental Services functions. The Director of Facilities/Environmental Services reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day coordination of facility-related activity throughout all FIGHT locations. This includes preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, and working with building vendors. This person is also responsible for ensuring that the EVS Team cleans and sanitizes all FIGHT locations in accordance with CDC and Philadelphia Department of Health.

About the Role:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8:00 - 4:00PM). May occasionally require extended hours and/or weekend availability.

Environment: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC); Largely administrative offices and various clinical spaces.

• Compensation: Salary is $90,000.00-$100,000.00

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Facilities Services Ticket System to ensure Facility related inquiries are responded to in a timely manner and tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure EVS staff are cleaning and sanitizing their assigned areas by observation and inspection of assigned areas daily
• Respond to Supervisor and Management feedback regarding facility and environmental services quality and timeliness issues
• Manage all Facilities/EVS staff and provide staff training and development
• Step in when necessary to perform facilities and/or environmental services tasks if staff are unavailable
• Coordinate building inspections with Fire Department, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing vendors
• Maintain environmental services supply inventory and review supply orders before they are submitted to Purchasing

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience supervising facilities and environmental services staff
• Familiarity with key building systems (HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing)
• Familiarity with Best Practices for Environmental Cleaning in Healthcare facilities
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, and director level staff
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to follow up with customers and follow through on commitments
