Clinical Outpatient Therapist Job Description
Philadelphia FIGHT, initially founded in 1990 as a comprehensive AIDS service organization, is now a Federally Qualified Health Center with five clinical sites, providing access to state-of-the art, culturally competent primary care, advocacy, social services, consumer education, and outreach for all patients in need. This is an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic LCSW, LPC, or LMFT to provide quality behavioral health services in a small and supportive clinic.
Qualifications: The ideal Clinical Outpatient Therapist is someone who has experience working with multiple diagnoses and gender identity/sexual orientation concerns. They will also have experience working with diverse populations, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with others as needed. The Clinical Outpatient Therapist will have a current Pennsylvania license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW), and at least 3 years of experience in mental health treatment.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a caseload of up to 30 clients for weekly individual sessions.
- Provide a variety of interventions to best support the needs of each client.
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients every 6 months.
- Complete empirically validated assessments with clients every 6 months.
- Participate in monthly administrative and clinical supervision meetings.
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
- Document sessions and non-billable notes in EMR.
- Other duties as requested or assigned.

Work Environment: Generally, works in a clinical office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical clinical setting.
